Wyreside Lakes is a family run business set in 120 acres of lakes and woodland and surrounded by the beauty of Wyresdale and the Bowland Fells. On the estate we have a 3 star rated campsite a B&B and a Scandinavian Lodge - a comfortable 3 bedroomed home which can be hired 12 months a year. On site we have a full range of facilities for overnight stays including hard standing pitches and lush green fields to camp on. There are toilets, showers, and a shop and launderette (opening March 07) and a disabled / family room.
For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate.
We provide good traditional home cooked fayre in the Fisherman's restaurant and for those who wish a livelier environment, there is also entertainment in the bar every weekend - children are allowed in the club house (under supervision).
Sunnyside B&B is a 150 year old farmhouse typical of the Bowland area. The Farmhouse comprises of four comfortable non - smoking bedrooms, one room features an en-suite bathroom. All rooms are heated, with warm beds, colour televisions and tea or coffee making facilities.
There are two sitting rooms where you can read a book in peace, watch TV or choose a film and in one of the rooms you may smoke.
Whether you are walking, bird watching, visiting historic Lancaster or of course fishing, Wyreside is the perfect place to take in the surroundings and relax.
We are just off the M6 motorway, signposted from junction 33.
