Rose Cottage was established as a Bed and Breakfast in 1984 by its present owners Terry and Marje. Rose Cottage is ideal for those wishing to take advantage of the area's unspoilt natural beauty. The Yorkshire Dales are only a 20 minute drive away.
Situated between Preston and Clitheroe yet enjoying a rural location, Rose Cottage is ideal for the business person wanting a friendly, homely environment.
Only 5 miles from the M6 J31, we are also an ideal overnight stop for those visiting Scotland.
Each well-equipped room has been individually furnished to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing visit. We also provide trouser press and ironing facilities for our guests' convenience. During your visit to Rose Cottage we will provide you with a hearty English breakfast, freshly prepared from local produce, complete with tea or freshly-ground coffee. A lighter, or vegetarian option can be provided. Alternatively an early starter breakfast in your room, can be ordered. Should you wish to eat out at one of the many fine eating establishments in our area, we will be only too happy to recommend one to you. Rose Cottage is exclusively non-smoking. We also accept credit cards(all card payments incur a 3% admin charge). Guests' facilities include: En-suite shower, or Private bathroom; welcome trays; TV+freeview, radio alarms; Hairdryers; heated towel rails; electric fans; fridge in all rooms,free Wi-Fi,and a small internet cafe, Well behaved pets are welcome
